What’s not to love about a band whose members live to play rock ’n’ roll, and who like to give away their music for free? With three albums already under their belt, EndWay is an evolved, melodic synthesis of Maroon 5, Sublime, and the current incarnation of INXS. Known for the vibrancy of their live performance, the band’s music has also been featured on MTV’s The Real World, Road Rules, and The Hills, to name a few. Vocalist Morgan Dorr’s tonality is “dynamic” and “soul-infused,” comparable to that of Coldplay’s Chris Martin. The opener, “Love Again,” is intriguing. Electronic elements permeate throughout; the result is ear pleasing and polished. In the realm of Jason Mraz, “Coolin’ Out” is optimistic and carefree, while the acoustic twang of “Wine, Women & Cheese” is a fitting end to a pleasant (but all-too-short) disc. Indeed, “Love is a friend we all need in the end.” (Julia R. DeStefano)
Endway is taking a little journey this upcoming weekend to New York city, Maryland and back. We’ll be playing a NYC showcase presented by Tainted Blue Recording Studios (www.taintedblue.com) Thursday, December 3rd at The Bitter End, 147 Bleecker St (btw W. Broadway & Thompson). Accompanying us will be special guests Jillian Marie & Mike Weurth beginning at 10:30PM.
The following night, Friday, December 4th will be held at Hula’s Bungalow, 23900 N Patuxent Beach Rd. California, MD. Be sure to come out and support the band on their weekend jaunt down the coast.
I felt compelled today to write a little something to the Bryant park Hotel. A few weeks back at the beginning of this tour we stayed a luxurious night in the hotel after our show in New York City’s Times Square at Klub 45 located in Connolly’s Pub. The room was a gift on behalf of Tainted Blue Studios and the Bryant Park Hotel. A huge thanks to both parties for making our stay in NYC that much more enjoyable. The staff at Bryant Park were very pleasant and helpful. It is one of the most unique and enjoyable hotel we have ever visited. I highly recommend visiting this hotel the next time you are in the city. Thank you Tainted Blue, we look forward to returning to your recording studio very soon.
We are back home after a 3 week tour of the east coast promoting our new album RUNNING MAN. Thank you everyone who came out to the shows for support and helped us in anyway. We cannot do these tours without you. While we were on the road, we met a lot of new fans, played at some new venues and stopped off in Nashville, TN for a few days to begin production on some new songs. This has been an exciting tour and we cannot wait for you to hear our new demos.
We will be playing out again in early December for a few dates, so be sure to keep watch on our calendar.
Thank you again to our fans and friends for making our tours successful and pleasant!
